February 2018 a farmer takes advantage of the lowering Tonle Sap waters and grows crops in the river bank in the Chrouy Chanva district. These grounds would usually be underwater during the rainy season.

Phnom Penh, February 2018 - A Cham fisherman does the evening prayers on his boat over the Tonle Sap in the Chrouy Chanva district just across the river from Phnom Penh’s Royal Palace.

February 2018. During the dry season a Cham lady poses next to the family boat which is out of the water for maintenance in the Chrouy Chanva district. Cham families live on their boats most of the year at the bottom of the peninsula between the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers.
