Malin Annie

Malin Annie is a Swedish photographer, based in Denmark, working on and off in Cambodia since 2016. The driving force in Malins’ photography is the strive to create a visual language to peoples stories. “Storytelling is a human need. When sharing our stories we understand ourselves and we can change our community. Other peoples stories help us understand the world, and to interact in humility”. 

Malin has been especially involved in the Cambodian feminist scene, and is the founder of the project ‘Sister’ (2016-2018) portraying young Khmer Women’s Rights activists.
